This Is one of my favorite chicken recipes to make. It tastes so delicious and very easy to make. The best part is, you only need a few ingredients to make this.
Ingredients:
1 Whole Chicken (cut into pieces)
1 Large Onion (diced)
5 Pieces Green Onions/Scallions (chopped)
3 Cloves Garlic (minced)
2 Bay Leaves
1 Tsp Black Pepper
1 Tsp All Purpose Adobo Seasoning
½ Cup water
½ Cup Soy Sauce
1 Cup vegetable/sesame oil (for frying)
In a pan cut and clean the chicken. Add diced onions, chopped green onions/scallions, minced garlic, bay leaves black pepper, adobo seasoning and water. If you do not have the adobo seasoning, salt will be just fine.
On a medium heat, allow it to cook for about 15 minutes
After 15 minutes, take the chicken out and let it rest, about 5 minutes
Add soy sauce and mix well. Make sure every chicken is coated with soy sauce. Allow this to sit for a few more minutes, about 2 to 3 minutes.
Heat oil and fry the chicken on a medium heat until they are golden brown, about 2 to 3 minutes on each side.
Enjoy as a side dish with some fried rice, or just as a snack on a movie night.
