Ingredients:

2 cups all purpose flour

2 tbsp unsalted butter

1 cup sugar

1 ½ tsp baking powder

1 tsp nutmeg

Pinch of salt

1 egg

1 ½ cups milk or water

1 tsp vanilla

3 cups oil (for frying)

How to make it:

This is a very easy recipe that will be ready in no time!

In a mixing bowl, add the flour, baking powder, nutmeg and mix well with your hand or a spoon.

Then, mix in the butter. Make sure the butter is well incorporated.

Next, add the sugar, egg, milk, vanilla and mix viciously for about 8 to 10 minutes without stopping or pausing in between.

After mixing for 8 to 10 minutes, cover and let the batter rest for 5 to 8 minutes.

In a medium size pot, heat up your oil. Using your hand, scoop about a tablespoon size of the batter and drop them into the hot oil.

Fry until they are all golden brown.

Take the doughnuts out and rest them on a paper towel to help absorb any excess oil.

Enjoy just like that or sprinkle some powdered sugar on the top.
