Ingredients:
1 cup fresh ginger root (grated)
4 cups water
½ cup sugar or to your taste
Ice cubes
How to make it:
Grate or blend 1 cup of fresh ginger then add 4 cups of water and give it a little stir.

Cook on a medium heat for 10 minutes.

Turn off the heat and allow this to cool.
Once cooled, strain the ginger pulps out with a cheesecloth or a napkin cloth.

Then add ½ cup of sugar or your prefer amount of sugar and stir well until the sugar dissolves.

Serve best with ice.
This is perfect for when you have a cough and also great for an upset stomach.
